Narrative: Item is a presidential address delivered to the Vancouver Natural History Section of the B.C.M.C at the opening meeting of their first winter session. Address was given in the Biology Lecture room at the University of British Columbia. Davidson endeavours to show how the Natural History Association can promote the study of nature within the community. He makes suggestions for educating adults, reaching the children through their teachers, providing a museum and supporting public activities.
